Just a thought -- in case there is any slots left on Helpbot's bot shell...

I think there is a "guidebot" on the "mainland" -- if anyone even knows about it -- which has a list of in-game readable guides culled together from various web sources.  I don't know who runs guidebot or if its still alive.  I haven't used it in ages.

I was thinking if it would be a good idea to create a "n00bbot" with a level 1 toon on ICC Noob Island.  Its functionality would be similar to guide bot, except it spams the OOC Newbie channel every half hour or hour with a clicky and has some basic newbie guides on it.

I think this would be a huge community service and prevent the proverbial "run left" problem that afflicts many new players.

Spamming a chat channel FC doesn't like, especially if done by a bot.

I'll run it by them and maybe we can do that...
